We follow the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework which sets the standards for learning, development, and care for children from birth up to five years of age, and activities are designed to meet the differing needs of every individual child.

Little Grange is open 51 weeks per year, closing for bank holidays, one week at Christmas and three staff training days.

Our opening times are 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday.

We ask all of our children to do a minimum of six sessions per week (a session is a half day).

Little Grange accepts children from six months up to five-years-old.

Each child has their own ‘Key Person’.

This is the staff member who has the greatest responsibility for providing the care, nurture and learning for your child. They are your key point of contact and you will drop off and collect your children from their Key Person whenever possible.

Throughout your child’s time with us, we build a Learning Journey of their progress and achievements, through observations of their play and interactions. This journal is available for parents to view at any point and observations will be shared with Parents on a regular basis. Parents are also encouraged to share with us the learning that happens at home using our easy to use app.
